Cristiano Ronaldo reaches 40 gols!

In a "espectacular time", as Cristiano himself described yesterday, he arrived to the 40 gols. He marked the first, it marked the second and Manchester United won convincingly (4-1) West Ham, being more close to the English (if Chelsea loses tomorrow in Newcastle it is accomplished) title. The bad news: Nani lost the head and was expelled.

To pass for the less productive (he was almost one month, and five games, without scoring) period, Cristiano dispatched the blockade well: he made the 1-0 to the 3 minutes and the 2-0 to the 24. Then, Tévez (27) and Carrick (59) gave the final expression the one thrashed lessened by the road by Dean Ashton (28). It is now Ronaldo's bills are these: 40 gols for United, being to six of mythical Denis Law, that stops the maximum for the red devils; 30 of them in the English League, being one of Alan Shearer (31) maximum.

In other words, numbers modest for the player that pursues the English title, the League of the Champions, the European of 2008. And, obviously, the FIFA prize for the best player of the World in 2007/08. "My friends have been giving me many good balls and I only have that marking", it explained the number seven of United yesterday. "This time has been espectacular", it summarized, proud.

Now, with just one more game for arguing in the League (in Wigan), United is a victory away of the title - or not even that if tomorrow Chelsea loses in Newcastle. "We have a great opportunity for us to turn ourselves champion", it summarized Cristiano Ronaldo. "We have to be champion."

Anything that Alex Ferguson, the trainer, didn't also say. "We have a great opportunity for us to be champion", he said. And, clear, he spoke about the genius: "Cristiano had an incredible time and it doesn't stop progressing. He suffered a hard load, but he stayed in foot. There is to applaud this spirit", it analyzed Ferguson. "How many players do get to mark so many golos? And it is necessary not to forget that played 90% of the time as end", ended.

To finish, Ferguson left a pinprick for the rivals of Chelsea. "For the speech, it seems that is easy to win in Newcastle. But all know that it is not", Manchester United trainer, that has in the best gols difference the decisive advantage on the blues ended.
