Wackerhage: "Gene of Ronaldo doesn't exist"

TEACHER CONSIDERS ABSURD SEARCH OF SUCCESSOR OF THE GENIUS

Ronaldo's "gene doesn't exist", it defends Henning Wackerhage, German specialist in sport medicine, considering "absurdity" the fact of appealing to genetic analyses to obtain a successor of the brilliant Portuguese soccer player.

"No there is, nor it will have a test to discover Ronaldo's" gene, it assured Wackerhage to the Germanic weekly publication "Gives Spiegel", on him alleged request that had received from an European club, whose name didn't reveal for confidencialidade reasons, for the detection of future stars.

According to the weekly publication, the request had as objectivo to find "next Cristiano Ronaldo", but the scientist recalled that, although the laboratories have scientific objectivs, they also exist subjects of ethics laboral: It would "serialize unacceptable that a boss analyzed their employees" genetically.

However, Wackerhage, teacher in the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, has notion that, "theoretically", the genetic search can work in other sports, as the athletics - for instance in the proofs of 100 meters -, in which are present less variant than in relation to the soccer.
